У Фроста о стихах: "It begins with a lump in the throat, a homesickness or a lovesickness. It is reaching towards expression; an effort to find fulfilment. A complete poem is one where an emotion has found its thought, and the thought has found the words."

Это о гармонии с собственной жизнью. В те удачные дни, которые нижутся на крепкую толстую нитку - через какой-нибудь запах пыли, кофе, бензина, мороза, через куст, калитку, выпуклую от ветра воду в Сене, поднебесную ёлку у Нотр Дам.
